With a degree in Law from Oxford University, Simon initially had a broad and progressive career within consumer goods businesses, primarily in sales and marketing functions within blue chip groups including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson and Diageo. His career later developed into venture capital backed projects at the general management level. He began his executive search career in 2001,founding his own executive search business, initially within the MRI Worldwide network and then running independently as CPG Europe since 2009. He continues to run all his own executive search briefs, and has worked for clients of all sizes from SME start ups to Top 10 global consumer branded manufacturers. In recent years supporting senior management change in private equity owned businesses and establishing European team infrastructure for US companies have been particular features.
